Launched in 1992, the Young Eagles program was initiated to give interested young people, in the age range of 8 to 17, an opportunity to fly in a general aviation aircraft free of charge. These flights are made possible by the generosity of EAA members who volunteer their aircraft and their time.
EAA Chapter 307 actively supports the Young Eagles program with a schedule of monthly Young Eagle Rallies from April through October each year. These YE events are generally scheduled for the second Saturday of the month at the La Crosse Airport. All flights are weather permitting.
(NOTE: A parent or guardian must sign the registration forms. The forms will be provided at the YE event. Copies of forms cannot be used. To get a form(s) in advance of an event, contact the Chapter 307 YE Coordinator or the President).
